RANKING METHODOLOGY
The Blog Intelligence Score (v1.1) is a composite of six equal-weighted signals (each ~16.7%). Ranks are assigned by sorting on the composite score. Click Signals on any row to see the six scores for that publication.
Inclusion criteria
We include high-reach content properties that publish regularly for a broad audience: independent editorial blogs, major media sites, and some product-company blogs with substantial readership. Inclusion is editorial judgment, not a paid listing. Affiliate- or commerce-heavy sites may appear when their content footprint is large enough to matter as a content business. This is a score of the property as a content business — not a purity test of “blog” vs “media company.”
Scores are editorial assessments combining public signals and proprietary analysis. Traffic bands are order-of-magnitude estimates. Not affiliated with any ranked publication. Rank movement is versus the prior list revision, not a live ticker. Last editorial revision: 2026-08-02.

How is the Blog Intelligence Score calculated?+
Six editorial signals — audience reach, domain authority, revenue power, content quality, AI visibility, and growth momentum — are each scored 0–100 and combined with equal weight (1/6 each) into a composite score out of 100. Ranks are derived by sorting on that composite. Scores are editorial assessments informed by public traffic estimates, backlink/authority signals, and observed monetization models — not a live third-party API.
Is this a live ranking?+
No. The list is curated by editors and re-scored periodically. Blog standing as a business does not change minute to minute, so there is no live feed. The date shown is the last editorial revision of this list.
Who is included in the ranking?+
High-reach content properties that publish regularly for a broad audience — including independent editorial blogs, major media sites, and some product-company blogs with substantial readership. Inclusion is editorial, not a paid listing. Commerce/affiliate-heavy sites may appear when their content footprint is large enough to matter as a content business.
