Shared Bots for Teams

A Bot is either personal or shared. Share a Bot with your Cursor team the way you would share a doc: with everyone on the team, or only with designated teammates and groups.

Who Can Use Shared Bots?

Shared Bots are for members of a Cursor team who have Grok Bot. Choose + in the sidebar to see Create a Bot and Browse shared Bots.

Privacy & Chat Isolation

Each person's chat with a shared Bot is strictly private. The owner and Managers cannot read your chats, and you cannot read the owner's or anyone else's. What it remembers about working with you stays between you and the Bot.

Apps, Secrets & Compute

A shared Bot uses the apps and secrets its owner added. In direct 1:1 chat, it works on your personal cloud computer using your local sessions after asking (Allow once / Always allow / Skip). In Slack channels and threads, it uses a dedicated shared computer.
